The Library of Babel
Babel is the record of every text up to 250 characters over a 31-symbol alphabet — not as poetry, as arithmetic. Same coordinate, same length ⇒ identical text, on every machine, forever. There are no words stored; there is only structure. Nothing here pretends otherwise.

Find your text
What it honestly is
- Read gives a coordinate (hex string) + a length. The text is a blake2b counter stream over that seed, folded onto 31 symbols.
- Find computes your text's canonical key
(
b1-sha256) — a stable, permanent, shareable pointer. It does not claim to search an infinite space; nothing can, and an implementation that implies otherwise is lying. - Marked texts get a public permalink
/h/{key}; the index lists what is actually marked, nothing else.
